About CodeAnt AI:
We're building a complete offensive and defensive security platform. Backed by Y Combinator, Entrepreneur First, and Uncorrelated Ventures. Used by Fortune 500s and government agencies to ship secure, high-quality code at scale.
We've shipped 100+ CVEs in 2026. We rank #1 in critical PR detection benchmarks. Our security research has affected 1.85B+ monthly downloads.
We sell to developers, security engineers, engineering managers, CTOs, and CISOs. Technical buyers who spot marketing fluff from a mile away and reject it instantly. Our messaging, positioning, and product storytelling need to be sharp enough to earn their trust.
That's what you're here to own.
Why this role exists:
Our product ships fast. New features every week. Pen testing, code review, SAST, code quality, AI-native scanning. Each one solves a real problem for a specific ICP.
But right now, positioning is scattered. Feature messaging lives in the founder's head. Sales enablement is one deck being reused for every buyer. Competitive battle cards don't exist. Launch motion is inconsistent.
You're going to fix all of it.
What you'll own:
- Positioning and messaging. Own how we talk about every product line: pen testing, AI code review, SAST, code quality. Different ICPs, different buyer languages. Nail the message for each.
- Product launches. Every new feature, product line, and major release gets a launch motion. Landing page, blog post, LinkedIn narrative, sales enablement, customer email, changelog. You own it end-to-end.
- Competitive intelligence. Snyk, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CodeRabbit, DeepSource, Semgrep, Veracode. You know them cold. Battle cards, comparison pages, objection handling docs. Sales should never lose a deal because they didn't know how to counter a competitor claim.
- Sales enablement. Decks, one-pagers, ROI calculators, technical FAQs, customer story assets. Built for our AEs and SDRs to close faster.
- Developer-first storytelling. Our buyers are technical. You write for them, not for CMOs. Blog posts that get shared in engineering Slacks. LinkedIn posts that get shared by CTOs. Landing pages that speak the language of the developer, not the marketer.
- Customer research. Talk to customers regularly. Understand why they bought, why they stayed, why they churned. Feed everything back into positioning and messaging.
- Category work. Help shape how CodeAnt positions itself in the AI-native security category. Analyst relations, category education, thought leadership content in Amartya's and the team's voice.
Who you are:
- 3+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS, devtools, or security company. Bonus if you've sold to developers or security engineers.
- You've owned launches end-to-end. Not just written a launch blog, but built the full motion: positioning, messaging, assets, sales enablement, GTM alignment.
- You write for technical audiences. You know why "AI-powered developer productivity platform" is dead on arrival and what to write instead.
- You've built competitive battle cards that AEs actually use.
- You understand how developers evaluate tools. Free tier, PLG motion, GitHub-first workflows, self-serve trials, docs quality.
- You can look at a product feature and instantly see the 3 different ICPs it matters to, the 3 different messages for each, and the 3 different channels to launch it on.
- You read customer reviews, call recordings, Reddit threads, and G2 reviews for signal.
- Bias to ship. You'd rather launch a 70% asset today than a 95% one next month.
What you won't do:
- Own paid acquisition (Growth Marketing Manager handles that)
- Own organic ranking or AEO/GEO (Organic Growth Lead handles that)
- Write blog SEO content at scale (content team handles that)
You're the storyteller and the strategist for the product. Everything downstream flows from your work.
What's in it for you:
- Product marketer building the next billion-dollar devtools company
- Top-of-market cash, real equity, zero fluff
- Work side by side with the CEO, Head of Growth, and product team
- Own positioning for a product used by Fortune 500s and government agencies
- YC-backed, fastest-growing AI security company in our category, just getting started
We want people who:
- Genuinely enjoy the craft of product marketing
- Move with urgency
- Work really hard (we mean it)
