About the Role
Repalogic is looking for a Product Marketing Manager — Release & Customer Marketing to lead release communications for TYRIOS, GetYourOffers, and allied products.
In this role, you will ensure that customers clearly understand what is new, what has changed, and why it matters. You will turn product features, enhancements, and fixes into timely, customer-friendly communication across channels such as release notes, changelogs, emails, in-app notifications, website updates, and social media.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Designers, Customer Support, and the Social Media team to make every release communication accurate, relevant, and well-timed.
This role is ideal for an early-career product marketer who wants to build strong expertise in release marketing, customer communication, content strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, with the opportunity to grow into broader go-to-market and product launch ownership.
Key ResponsibilitiesRelease Marketing
- Own the end-to-end communication process for product releases, including new features, enhancements, updates, and patches.
- Develop communication plans based on the importance, customer impact, and timing of each release.
- Ensure customers receive the right information through the right channel at the right time.
Customer-Facing Content
- Translate technical and product-level inputs into clear, engaging, and customer-friendly content.
- Write and publish:
- Release notes
- Patch notes
- Changelog entries
- Feature announcements
- Product update summaries
- Website and help-center content
- Email and in-app messaging
- Maintain a consistent tone, structure, and level of detail across all release communications.
Changelog and Release Notes Management
- Maintain an accurate and consistently updated changelog for TYRIOS and related products.
- Create a predictable publishing cadence so customers and support teams know where to find the latest product updates.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to verify information before publication.
Channel and Communication Strategy
- Decide whether each update requires active push communication or passive pull communication.
- Select the most appropriate communication channels, including:
- Email
- In-app notifications
- Website banners
- Social media
- Changelog entries
- Help-center documentation
- Adapt the message, format, and tone for each audience and channel.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product Owners to gather accurate feature, update, and release details.
- Partner with Product Managers to align on release timing, priority, positioning, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with Designers to create visuals for announcements, banners, and release campaigns.
- Brief Customer Support teams before relevant releases and provide FAQs, talking points, and customer-ready explanations.
- Coordinate with the Social Media team to identify releases that deserve broader visibility and provide accurate, ready-to-use content.
- Capture recurring customer questions and feedback to improve future communication.
Planning and Performance
- Own and maintain the release and customer communication calendar.
- Ensure communications are planned in advance and do not depend on last-minute coordination.
- Monitor customer responses through support tickets, feedback, engagement, and feature adoption.
- Use these insights to improve the clarity, timing, and effectiveness of future release communication.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, technical writing, release communications, or a related role.
- Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or product-led environment is preferred.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information without losing accuracy.
- Confidence working directly with Product Owners, Product Managers, and other technical stakeholders.
- Good judgment regarding communication channels, timing, audience, and message priority.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage a recurring release cadence.
- A collaborative working style and the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple functions.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with changelog or release-note tools.
- Experience managing content through a CMS.
- Exposure to email or in-app messaging tools.
- Understanding of customer support workflows and how proactive release communication can reduce support tickets.
- Experience measuring the engagement or effectiveness of product and customer communications.
What Success Looks Like in the First 6–12 Months
- TYRIOS and related products have a well-maintained, consistently updated changelog that customers and support teams rely on.
- A clear and repeatable framework for push-versus-pull communication is documented and followed.
- Release communications are planned and delivered without last-minute confusion or delays.
- Support tickets related to customers being unaware of product changes begin to decline.
- Strong working relationships are established across Product, Design, Customer Support, and Social Media.
- Release communication becomes a dependable and measurable part of the product development process.
- The role begins expanding into broader go-to-market and product launch ownership.
