JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Product Marketing Engineer
Department: Product Marketing Department (India)
Reports to: General manager for Product Marketing in Murata India Bangalore office. And Regional Product Marketing Manager for RF / Wireless Connectivity
Functional Relationships with: Relationship with India business development related members including Application Engineering, Marcom Team, Business Development Team, Sales Team, and related Product Departments in Japan HQ.
Position Profile: Based in India, the successful candidate will be responsible for business creation and pre‑sales of RF / Wireless connectivity products to expand the India business and support local sales for design wins. Regional travel within India may be required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new and existing customer opportunities through market understanding and research within the India market.
• Provide technical support to customers to ensure successful implementation of Murata RF / Wireless product concepts through close follow‑up.
• Manage customer requests and requirements by working closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Hypothesize and develop key success strategies and business models for targeted applications and product concepts in India.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
• Support marketing and communications activities for India market promotion.
Ability / Competency Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electronics or related engineering discipline.
• No prior working experience required, fresh graduates or with 2years experience candidate are encouraged.
• Basic electronics engineering knowledge; experience in wireless connectivity (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LPWA) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of embedded devices (C programming, RTOS, Linux) is advantageous. • Understanding of IoT device market is an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work well as a team player while being independent and proactive.
• Positive attitude in a challenging work environment. • Willingness to travel within India as required.
