About ZOCA
We are at $2.5Mn+ ARR, 1000+ beauty and wellness businesses on the platform, and a $6M Series A behind us. We are not starting out. But we are also nowhere close to where we want to be.
Zoca is building the growth infrastructure that small beauty and wellness businesses have never had access to. Online visibility, bookings, payments, customer retention, voice AI. All of it, in one place, built to work without a full-time marketing or ops team running it.
We want people who will think, challenge, ship, and own outcomes.
About Product
Most small businesses have no real online presence. Not because they do not care. Because nobody built the right tools for them. No agencies, no in-house teams, no budget for any of it. They are invisible to customers who are actively looking for them. That is the problem this product exists to solve.
Discovery is Zoca's first product touch with a business owner. It handles how they show up online. Local search, Google Business Profile, SEO, AEO, website, content. The product does the work automatically. The owner gets a clear dashboard that tells them what is happening, what changed, and what it drove. No jargon, no agency, no guesswork.
We have built the foundation. It is live, it is generating revenue, and it is inside a market that has barely been touched. The PM who takes this on will build it from a solid base into a full-scale product with dashboards, automation, reporting, and a growth loop that feeds everything else in the Zoca stack.
What You Will Own
- The Discovery product roadmap. From current state to a product that gives any SMB complete control and visibility over their online presence. Local search, organic search, AI-cited answers, reputation, content. All of it.
- The SMB dashboard experience. Business owners are not SEO experts. The product needs to translate complex signals into clear, actionable information. You will define what that looks like and make sure it actually gets built.
- AEO as a product capability. Search is shifting. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews are changing how people find local businesses. You will define what it takes to show up in those results and build the product that does it automatically for our customers.
- Automation depth. The best version of this product runs in the background. It updates listings, fixes gaps, pushes content, and improves rankings without the owner lifting a finger. You will push the product toward that.
- Revenue ownership. New MRR from Discovery, expansion into other Zoca products, and engagement post-onboarding. You own these numbers.
- Cross-functional coordination. Engineering, design, SEO specialist, content, customer success. You connect the dots.
Why this role matters
Discovery is Zoca's acquisition engine. It is the product that a new customer signs up for first and gets value from in week one. If it works, they stay. They expand into bookings, payments, voice AI. If it does not work, they leave.
Beyond Zoca's own growth: the PM who builds this well will have created a product that a million small businesses genuinely need and do not have. That is not a small thing.
What We Are Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of product management experience, with at least one role where AI or automation was central to what you shipped, not a feature you added at the end.
- Working knowledge of SEO. You do not need to be a specialist but you need to understand what moves rankings, why it matters for local businesses, and how to build a product that automates those levers.
- Genuine interest in the AEO / GEO space. You should have a point of view on how AI search systems surface local information and what businesses need to do to show up. Not a rehearsed answer. An actual opinion.
- Experience in SMB or PLG environments. You understand what it means to build for a customer who has 15 minutes to try something new and no patience for complexity.
- Bias toward shipping. We do not reward plans. We reward things that are live and working.
- Strong written communication. PRDs, customer narratives, strategy docs. Clarity is not optional.
What This Is Not
This is not a backlog management role. If you want structured grooming cycles and clearly scoped tickets handed to you, this is not right. If you want to own a product area, have a real point of view, and be accountable for whether it grows revenue, this is exactly right.
