Role Overview
We're looking for a Product Manager to own the software product for our AI-powered wearable. You'll own the iOS and Mac apps, AI/ML capabilities, and the complete software experience while working closely with our hardware team to ensure seamless integration.
This role is ideal for someone who has shipped consumer AI products, understands how users interact with intelligent interfaces, and can build software experiences that work within hardware constraints. You should be comfortable talking to users about their workflows, debating ML model trade-offs with engineers, and prioritizing features that make the most of our wearable hardware.
What You'll Own
- Own the product roadmap, feature prioritization, and user experience for the iOS app, Mac app, and AI/ML capabilities
- Work with cross-functional software teams including iOS/Mac developers, AI/ML engineers, backend engineers, and designers to ship high-quality releases
- Run daily standups, sprint planning, and retros; maintain project trackers and keep the team aligned on priorities and blockers
- Write PRDs, technical specs, and product documentation; maintain release notes, feature docs, and internal knowledge base
- Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and testing teams to ensure seamless integration between wearable and apps, respecting hardware constraints
- Run user research, pilot programs, and beta testing to validate features and gather feedback on the software experience
- Design onboarding flows and habit-forming product loops that get users to adopt the wearable as part of their daily routine
- Use data and metrics to drive product decisions track engagement, retention, feature usage, and AI performance across iOS and Mac platforms
- Be accountable for the end-to-end software product experience from first download to daily active use
- Define and ship intelligent features that feel natural
Requirements
- 3-7 years of product management experience in consumer tech, mobile apps, or consumer AI products
- Hands-on experience shipping AI/ML-powered features or products
- Strong understanding of iOS and/or Mac product development and Apple ecosystem experiences
- Comfortable with the basics of backend systems, APIs, and mobile app architecture
- Experience working with or around hardware constraints (even if you didn't own hardware decisions)
- Track record of owning a software product in a startup or fast-moving environment
- Data-driven mindset with strong product instincts for consumer software
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
