About This Role
We're looking for a Product Manager to work on Xoxoday's enterprise sales performance and incentive compensation product. This is an individual contributor role with clear ownership over product features, from early discovery through delivery.
You'll work closely with engineering, design, and internal stakeholders to turn real customer needs into shipped product. This role is hands-on by design — you're expected to stay close to execution, not just planning.
What You'll Do
Own feature delivery
- Own the full lifecycle of product features across incentive compensation, commission management, or sales performance modules — from problem definition to launch.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements for workflows like quota setting, attainment tracking, and payout calculations.
- Drive features through execution, staying involved through build, testing, and release.
Work cross-functionally
- Partner closely with engineering and design to scope, prioritize, and deliver work on complex commission logic, plan configurators, and performance dashboards.
- Align stakeholders on goals, trade-offs, and delivery timelines across sales, finance, and RevOps personas.
- Unblock teams by making clear, timely decisions.
Stay close to users
- Develop a deep understanding of how sales leaders, RevOps teams, channel managers, and finance teams use incentive and commission products.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from internal teams and external enterprise users running channel partner programs, direct sales incentives, or territory-based comp plans.
- Iterate on features based on real-world outcomes like commission accuracy, dispute resolution rates, and rep engagement.
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in a product role, or a combination of product, technology, or design roles.
- Mandatory: Prior experience in fintech, sales performance management, incentive compensation management (ICM), or channel incentives — this includes products in sales commission automation, quota & territory planning, gamification-driven sales engagement, or channel partner loyalty platforms.
- Strong familiarity with the domain: you understand how commission plans are structured, how channel incentives differ from direct sales comp, and why calculation accuracy and transparency matter to reps and finance teams alike.
- Hands-on experience as a developer or designer within a product team.
- Experience owning product work independently, from ideation through execution.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work from our Bangalore office in a hybrid setup.
Nice to Have
- Experience building or managing products in sales gamification, leaderboards, nudge-based performance tools, or sales enablement platforms.
- Exposure to channel partner management — MDF, SPIFF programs, tiered rebates, or distributor incentive workflows.
- Familiarity with how enterprise comp teams at large organizations configure, audit, and dispute commission calculations.
- Experience as a founder or co-founder at any stage.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- You've worked on products where calculation correctness, auditability, and real-time visibility are non-negotiable — think commission engines, payout ledgers, or performance scorecards.
- You understand the tension between sales rep experience (motivation, transparency, gamification) and back-office needs (accuracy, compliance, finance reconciliation).
- You're comfortable taking full ownership and seeing work through to completion.
- You enjoy working close to execution and don't rely on others to "carry" delivery.
- You care about building practical, usable products that solve real problems for sales and channel teams.
- You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners — from engineers building plan calculators to CFOs reviewing payout reports.
Why Join Us
- Work on a product that competes in one of the fastest-growing segments of B2B SaaS — sales performance and incentive compensation.
- Operate with real ownership and decision-making responsibility.
- Collaborate with small, focused teams close to execution.
- Build in a domain where complexity is real, competition is intense, and good product decisions have outsized impact.
- Grow as a product operator in a hands-on, high-ownership environment.
