About the Role
We're looking for someone to own and improve the user experience of Radix, our accounting software. You'll be the bridge between our customers, sales team, developers, and support team—making sure we build features that users actually need and love to use.
What You'll Do
- Find out ways to make the product more user friendly by identifying and solving pain points
- Design new features based on customer feedback and business needs
- Simplify menus, create helpful shortcuts, and improve workflows
- Balance requests from Sales, Development, and Support teams
- Document requirements clearly so everyone understands what we're building
- Ensure the software looks good and feels intuitive to use
To be fit for this role, you must have
- User empathy - You understand what makes software frustrating vs delightful
- Practical thinking - You consider edge cases and real-world user flows
- Be able to communicate clearly (written and verbal)
- Calm under pressure - You can handle conflicting priorities without losing your cool
- Experience working with development teams
It'd be nice if you have
- Accounting exposure - You've used accounting software or understand basic accounting concepts
- Design sense - You know what looks good (symmetry, spacing, colors, fonts)
- Previous Product Owner/Manager experience
- Been at a customer-facing role where you collected feedback
- Done design courses or personal design projects
