About Samaaro
Samaaro is an AI-powered event marketing platform that helps marketing teams turn events into a measurable growth channel. We cover the full lifecycle — audience targeting, campaign-led promotion, registration, on-site execution, lead capture, CRM sync, and ROI reporting — for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Our customers include enterprise teams at PepsiCo, ICICI Lombard, Property Finder, Dr. Reddy's, Sodexo, and many others across India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
We're not an event logistics tool. We sit at the intersection of event tech, marketing automation, and sales enablement — connecting events to pipeline, revenue, and business outcomes.
About the Role
We're looking for a Product Manager who comes from a B2B SaaS background and knows what it takes to build a high-performing product from scratch — not just maintain one. Someone who has lived through the messy, zero-to-one phase of building product where there's no playbook, no established process, and you have to figure out what to build, why it matters, and how to ship it — all at the same time.
You should be the kind of PM who can look at a complex enterprise workflow, understand why it breaks, sketch a better version, and rally the team to ship it. You should also be someone who communicates exceptionally well — whether that's writing a crisp product spec, leading a cross-functional alignment meeting, presenting a roadmap to the founders, or getting on a call with an enterprise buyer and asking the right questions to uncover what they actually need.
At Samaaro, you'll own product across a platform that spans audience intelligence, campaign automation, registration workflows, QR check-in, lead capture, CRM integrations, and analytics dashboards. You'll work directly with the founders, engineering, design, customer success, and sales. You'll talk to enterprise marketing teams regularly. You'll see your decisions go live fast.
This role is for someone who is deeply self-motivated — someone who doesn't wait for direction but actively seeks out problems, uses every tool at their disposal (including AI), and moves from insight to mockup to spec without needing someone to hold their hand through each step.
If you want to build a category-defining product in a high-trust, high-velocity environment — and you're the kind of person who'd prototype a new feature in Figma or with an AI tool before the standup is over — this is the role.
What You'll Own
Product Discovery & Customer Intelligence
- Develop a deep understanding of Samaaro's ICP: marketing leaders, field marketers, demand gen teams, and event operations managers at mid-market and enterprise companies running 6+ events per year.
- Speak with customers and prospects regularly to uncover real pain points — not surface-level feature requests, but the workflow friction that slows them down.
- Conduct structured competitor and market research across event tech, marketing automation, and CRM ecosystems.
- Translate insights into clear product direction that strengthens product–market fit and expands our category lead.
Thinking, Designing & Prototyping
- Take ownership of the product thinking process end-to-end: from identifying the problem to sketching solutions to producing functional mockups.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, v0, or similar) to rapidly brainstorm concepts, generate UI mockups, draft copy, and stress-test ideas — before involving the full design and engineering team.
- Create low-fidelity and mid-fidelity wireframes and flows that communicate intent clearly enough to kick off engineering conversations.
- Collaborate with design for high-fidelity polish, but be capable of moving from zero to tangible artifact on your own.
Problem Structuring & Requirements
- Break large, ambiguous enterprise problems into structured, actionable work — across modules like registration, campaigns, check-in, lead capture, CRM sync, and reporting.
- Write clear functional flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge-case documentation.
- Work with design to ensure every experience is simple, intuitive, and built for enterprise users who don't have time to figure things out.
- Use data — product analytics, customer feedback patterns, funnel metrics — to justify decisions, not assumptions.
Execution & Delivery
· Work closely with engineering to refine tickets, unblock decisions, and maintain shipping momentum.
· Review builds, test flows end-to-end, and participate actively in QA before releases.
· Own release notes, internal documentation, and feature communication to GTM teams.
· Maintain tight alignment with customer success and sales so product decisions reflect what's happening in the field.
Product Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track product metrics — adoption, engagement, drop-off, NPS — and use them to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Identify friction points across the platform and propose improvements that move the needle on retention and expansion.
- Align product decisions with ICP needs, PMF direction, and the company's broader event marketing category vision.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 2–5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS — this is non-negotiable. You understand SaaS business models, enterprise buyer journeys, multi-stakeholder deals, and the rhythm of building product that serves paying business customers.
- Demonstrated experience building product from scratch or near-scratch — you've been in environments where you had to define the problem, shape the solution, set up processes, and ship without relying on an established playbook. You know what zero-to-one feels like.
- Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal. You can write a spec that engineers don't need to ask questions about, run a meeting that ends with decisions not confusion, present confidently to founders and leadership, and hold your own in conversations with enterprise customers. Communication is not a checkbox for this role — it's a core skill that shows up in everything you do.
- Strong analytical mindset — you're comfortable with data, metrics, and making decisions backed by evidence.
- Ability to read API documentation, understand system architecture basics, and have informed conversations with engineers.
- Proven ability to go from problem to prototype independently — using design tools, AI tools, or even pen-and-paper sketches to communicate ideas quickly.
- Comfort with AI-assisted workflows — you already use AI tools for brainstorming, drafting, research, or design, and you're constantly experimenting with new ones.
- High ownership mindset — you don't wait to be told what to do; you find the problem, propose the solution, and drive it forward.
- Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and the pace of an early-stage company scaling fast.
- Ability to talk to enterprise customers and stakeholders with confidence and curiosity.
Why Samaaro
- Build the category, not just the product. Samaaro sits in a whitespace between event management and marketing automation — you'll help define what event marketing platforms become.
- Ship fast, learn fast. Small team, short cycles, direct founder access. Your decisions go live in days, not quarters.
- AI-native product culture. We use AI across our product and our process. You'll be expected to push boundaries on how AI can accelerate product thinking and delivery.
- Real ownership. You won't be a ticket writer. You'll own outcomes — from discovery to adoption.
- Global, enterprise impact. Your work will be used by marketing teams at companies like PepsiCo, ICICI Lombard, and Property Finder across multiple continents.
- Growth path. Clear trajectory to Senior PM or Product Lead as the team scales.
- Competitive compensation with performance-linked growth.
