Job Title : Product Manager (Contractor)
Location : Remote

About the Role
We are hiring a strong Senior Product Manager / Product Lead to help drive product development for a workflow-heavy software platform.
This role is for someone who can operate at a high level of ownership. We are looking for a product professional who can understand complex business processes, translate them into clear product requirements, work closely with developers, and bring structure, clarity, and momentum to product execution.
The right person will be able to take ambiguous or messy operational needs, identify the real problem, design scalable workflows, prioritize effectively, and lead execution with confidence and minimal hand-holding.

What You Will Do
- Understand business workflows from end to end
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Map processes, edge cases, and system logic before development begins
- Work closely with developers to ensure the right features are being built
- Prioritize features, fixes, and improvements based on business value
- Identify bottlenecks, manual work, and workflow gaps that should be improved or automated
- Create clear acceptance criteria and define what success looks like for each feature
- Help improve the structure, usability, and scalability of the product over time
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant product experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, internal tools, workflow-heavy systems, CRMs, or operations-driven software
- Experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Product Lead, Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role with genuine ownership of product decisions
- Strong ability to convert business processes into structured software workflows
- Experience working directly with software developers in a hands-on way
- Strong skills in requirements definition, process mapping, prioritization, and execution
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing order to complex situations
- Able to think through edge cases, approvals, automations, user roles, and operational logic
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Able to work independently and operate with a high level of accountability in a remote contractor role

- Computer with 16GB RAM minimum

- Reliable high-speed internet (100+ Mbps)

- Noise-cancelling headset
Preferred Background
- Experience with workflow-heavy or operational software
- Experience improving automations and reducing manual processes
- Experience in early-stage or growing products where processes were still being defined
- Technical enough to speak comfortably with developers, without needing to be an engineer
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field. Strong equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
