- Role Description
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for telematics platforms and services.
- Gather and prioritize customer, business, and regulatory requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, cloud, and mobile application teams to deliver end-to-end telematics solutions.
- Drive development of features related to:
- Vehicle tracking and fleet management
- Driver behavior analytics
- Fuel monitoring and utilization
- Predictive maintenance
- Geofencing and alerts
- Asset tracking
- Connected vehicle services
- Analyze telematics data to identify product improvements and new business opportunities.
- Monitor product performance using KPIs and customer feedback.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and technology evaluations.
- Support product launches, customer onboarding, and go-to-market activities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and automotive regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in telematics, IoT, automotive, fleet management, or connected vehicle solutions.
- Strong understanding of GPS, GSM/LTE/5G, CAN bus, OBD-II, vehicle diagnostics, and IoT ecosystems.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to define product requirements and manage product backlogs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent business qualification.
- Experience with cloud platforms and data analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of fleet operations, logistics, transportation, or automotive industries.
- Familiarity with APIs, data integration, and SaaS product models.
