About the Role
Solutioner is conducting a confidential executive search on behalf of a global FinTech company redefining post-trade processing for capital markets through blockchain-inspired technology.
This is not a generalist product management role.
Our client already has product managers. What they are looking for is someone who has spent years on a collateral desk — someone who has managed eligibility schedules, worked with tri-party agents, handled CCP margin calls, and navigated the complexity of custodian bank relationships. Not because you read about it. Because you have lived it.
Your domain depth is the primary requirement. The product skills are the bridge.
What You Will Own
- Serve as the domain authority for the Collateral product line — bringing real collateral desk experience into every product decision
- Translate collateral operations knowledge into precise, buildable requirements for engineering teams
- Define and validate product features across eligibility, optimisation, tri-party instructions, settlement and margining
- Represent domain expertise in conversations with banks and financial institutions — you speak their language
- Own the Collateral product roadmap in partnership with the Product Management Lead
- Support sales and client success with domain-led product demonstrations and training
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years in capital markets with significant hands-on experience on a collateral desk or in collateral operations at a bank, custodian, or post-trade infrastructure firm
- Deep working knowledge of tri-party agents (BNY Mellon, Euroclear, Clearstream), custodian banks, CCP margining, collateral eligibility and optimisation
- Familiarity with SWIFT, CREST, CSDs (Clearstream, Euroclear) and trade repositories
- Product Management experience is valued — but domain expertise is the primary requirement
- Strong analytical capability across qualitative and quantitative data
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
What This Role Is Not
If you are a generalist PM who has worked adjacent to capital markets but has not operated within collateral management — this role is not the right fit. Our client needs someone who can walk into a room with a bank's collateral desk and immediately speak their language.
