Job Description – Product Development / System Engineer – Automotive Infotainment
Industry: Automotive / Mobility Technology

Role Summary
We are looking for a Product Development / System Engineer with experience in automotive Instrument Cluster, Audio, or Infotainment systems. The role will involve planning and tracking product development activities, managing technical risks and changes, coordinating design quality activities, and supporting system-level testing and releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and track Product Development (PD) schedules and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Identify, track, and resolve technical issues and project risks.
- Manage timely release of BOMs, specifications, and product documentation.
- Coordinate Design Reviews, FMEA, SCIF, and other design-quality activities.
- Support configuration and change management, including project resource and budget tracking.
- Perform initial sub-system/component testing before verification and validation activities.
- Manage work packages related to Hardware (HW) and Mechanical (ME) development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HW, SW, Systems, Quality, and Product Development.
- Support customer requirements, technical discussions, and project deliverables.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of Electrical/Electronics engineering.
- Experience in System Engineering for:
- Instrument Cluster
- Audio Systems
- Infotainment Systems
- Experience in Product Requirement Capture / SRD.
- Hands-on knowledge of requirement management tools such as DOORS NG / RTC.
- Experience with SW flashing/programming tools such as:
- MyCANIC
- Cyclone PRO
- FP5 Programmer
- Knowledge of the System V-Model / V-Diagram.
- Understanding of certification and validation activities for:
- Android
- Apple CarPlay
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- USB
- CE
- ICASA
Candidate Requirements
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Flexible to work according to project/customer requirements.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
