Role: PLM Functional Consultant
Location: PAN India
Must have:
1. Business consulting

- PLM software transformation

4. Design for X (Value, Six Sigma, Cost)

Role description
1. Advise clients on key areas in Process / Discreet industries like Engineering PLM Transformation, Product and Application Lifecycle Management, Digital Twins, Software-Driven transformation, and Gen AI Adoption to drive innovation and business value.
2. Strong functional knowledge of at least one Product Lifecycle Management suite .
3. 7+ years of overall experience in Business Consulting for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) across industries. Good to have industry experience. Must have strong project / program management skills.
4. Experience in requirement gathering, design, optimization and / or implementation of business processes in product development or R&D for industry.
5. Deliver strategic market insights, perform need gap analysis, and design tailored solutions, including “As-Is” and “To-Be” state mapping, ensuring alignment with client goals and project scope.
6. Experience in implementing large scale engineering transformations programs in the field of Process, Manufacturing, Service, R&D
7. Familiar with business process mapping techniques and use of tools such as Visio, Signavio.
8. Should have 2-3 years of experience in New Product Development, Design Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations, and a solid understanding of business processes in Discrete or Process Manufacturing, to drive impactful consulting engagements.
9. Develop assets, accelerators, and points of view on emerging trends like Digital Twins, Agile PLM transformation , IOT , Simulaiton , Gen AI, Sustainability and software-driven transformation to support internal and client initiatives.
10. Bring a good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and experience with Cloud platforms, Future of factory in digital engineering and intelligent industries, helping clients navigate complex product development and transformation challenges.
11. Experienced in conducting POCs, and/or contributed in Software solution development, working with Agile methodologies (SAfe, Scrum, Kanban) to drive iterative development, continuous improvement, and faster delivery of client solutions.
12. Experience with Agile project management tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus.
13. Experience in driving engagement that require Gen AI , Agnetic AI based business transformation.
