Job Title: Head – Sales (Karnataka)Location: Bangalore

Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly driven and strategic Head – Sales to lead and scale our business across the Karnataka region. The role demands deep understanding of the local healthcare market, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience in driving revenue, distribution, and team performance within the surgical/critical care segment.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership & Growth- Own and drive the overall sales strategy and revenue targets for Karnataka
- Lead primary and secondary sales operations, ensuring consistent growth
- Expand and strengthen the distribution network (super stockists, dealers, hospital channels)
- Ensure strong brand visibility and product positioning across the region
Team Leadership & Performance Management- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional sales team
- Define and cascade KRAs, targets, and performance metrics
- Ensure team alignment and achievement of sales targets
- Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews
- Identify manpower gaps and drive hiring, onboarding, and training
Channel & Key Account Management- Manage and grow relationships with hospital stockists, distributors, and key partners
- Ensure smooth execution of order flow and supply coordination
- Strengthen channel efficiency and coverage across Karnataka
Marketing & Market Development- Drive promotional activities and market activation initiatives
- Ensure strong product visibility and brand presence
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance market penetration
Reporting & Strategic Planning- Prepare and present MIS, forecasts, and business insights to management
- Align regional performance with organizational goals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity for strategic decision-making
Key Requirements- Experience: 10–15 years in sales, preferably in healthcare / surgical / critical care segment
- Proven experience in leading Karnataka or state-level sales operations
- Strong expertise in distribution, channel sales, and hospital networks
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, hiring, and performance management
- Strong strategic thinking with execution excellence
Mandatory Criteria- Candidate must be based in Karnataka (Bangalore preferred)
- Must have strong knowledge of the Karnataka market, including key hospitals, distributors, and regional dynamics
Preferred Candidate Profile- Well-networked within the Karnataka healthcare ecosystem
- High ownership mindset with strong leadership presence
