Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Cryogenic Product Lead to join our quantum
hardware team. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in cryogenic system integration, with a strong focus on wiring and signal routing within dilution refrigerators. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, low-noise operation of our quantum processors from room temperature down to the millikelvin regime.
Job Role:
● Install and integrate wiring looms within dilution refrigerators, including DC lines, RF coaxial lines, and thermometry wiring across all temperature stages.
● Maintain and enforce wiring standards for heat load budgeting, signal integrity, and thermal anchoring at each DR stage, from room temperature down to the mK stage.
● Learn and manage the full cryogenic setup , supporting operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting as required.
● Document wiring configurations for different qubit measurement setups and iterate based on experimental and measurement feedback.
● Collaborate with the Quantum Measurement teams to ensure wiring is optimized for QPU integration and low-noise operation.
● Support Quantum Lab infrastructure development at our facility and contribute to testing cryogenics wirings.
Qualifications:
● B.Tech/MSc/M.Tech/PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Cryogenic Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with a strong emphasis on Cryogenic systems.
● Mechanical design, analysis and parts fabrication for cryogenic system is a plus.
● Basic understanding of heat load management and thermal anchoring principles at sub- Kelvin temperatures.
● Familiarity with RF coaxial wiring, DC line routing, and thermometry cabling in a cryogenic environment.
● Experience with or exposure to superconducting qubit measurement setups is a strong advantage.
● Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail.
● A dependable, proactive team player who can collaborate effectively across hardware, measurement, and infrastructure teams.
