Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual to fill a position in ‘Gas Services product Development’ function in Gurgaon, India as part of the Product Integrity department.
As a Product Integrity - Program Manager (GS EQS PI TI) at Siemens Energy, you have responsibility to support and manage technical issues’ identification, escalation and resolution that most impact our company. Become part of our global Product Integrity organization, supporting Gas Service products Technical Programs!
You will lead matrixed program teams through the GS Product Integrity Process (PIP) issue resolution steps. We are seeking experienced a technical Program Manager in the areas of Gas Turbine engineering and product support. The role will be located in Gurgaon, India.
Your New Role – Challenging And Future-oriented
By managing the progress of Problem Solving under complex boundary conditions, this position as a Program Manager / Project Manager for Technical Issues is very challenging. In your role, you will have a high visibility to senior and upper management and the opportunity to grow and to develop your own skills.
You will continuously align with partnering organizations (engineering, service, manufacturing, etc.) to meet the deliverables required by our internal stakeholders (customer-facing organizations).
How You Will Make An Impact
- Be responsible for planning on prioritized projects and the adequate fleet-wide issue resolution
- Coordinating the complete chain of issue resolution, starting with a clear problem statement via root cause analysis up to validation of the resulting technical solution
- Ensure the progress of the project by coordination of all relevant, company-wide interfaces to solve the issue
- Build up strategies for risk mitigation and for internal and external communication
- Build up project plans and you ensure tracking for project milestone plans and for the project budget
- Take care for the general quality by experience feedback from the issue resolution to the responsible partners in engineering to avoid re-occurrence of issues and to ensure continuous improvement in the product development process or in other areas (“lessons learned”)
- Participate in or support for external customer meetings (worldwide) as a partner for the commercial project organization.
We Are Looking For Motivated And Resilient Minds
- Bachelor or master’s in mechanical or equivalent engineering from recognized university .
- Multi-annual experience in the area “industrial gas-turbine” or similar business areas (preferably more than 8 years of Experience)
- Knowledge about commercial projects and power plant business
- Experiences as a Project Manager / Program Manager in leading project teams. Training or certificate in Project Management is meritorious.
- Self-going and ability to easily navigate through ambiguity.
- Good skills in talking and reading English.
