Role Summary
We are looking for a Product & Growth Analyst to help us better understand how users interact with our product and how different acquisition channels contribute to meaningful engagement and growth.
In this role, you will work closely with Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to analyze user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and generate insights that improve product experience, activation, and retention.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, product strategy, and growth, and is excited about turning data into actionable product decisions.
Location & Employment Details
This role will be hired through an Employer of Record (EOR) in India. We are currently prioritizing candidates based in Bengaluru or those open to working out of Bengaluru.
What you’ll do
Analyze user behavior
- Analyze user journeys, product funnels, and feature adoption
- Identify drop-off points and friction in key product flows
- Perform cohort analysis and retention analysis
- Identify behaviors that correlate with successful user outcomes
Support product growth
- Analyze acquisition channels and campaign performance
- Evaluate conversion from acquisition to activation and retention
- Identify high-quality user segments and growth opportunities
Drive experimentation
- Work with product teams to design and evaluate product experiments
- Analyze A/B test results and provide clear recommendations
- Help validate product hypotheses using data
Generate insights for product decisions
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
- Create analytical reports and dashboards for product and leadership teams
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve product experience and growth
What we’re looking for
Experience
- 5–8 years minimum of experience in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, or Data Analytics roles.
- Experience working with digital products such as SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, or consumer apps
- Strong experience analyzing user behavior and product usage patterns
Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA4
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or similar
- Experience analyzing A/B tests and experiments
Analytical & Product Thinking
- Strong understanding of product funnels, activation metrics, and retention drivers
- Ability to connect data analysis with product improvements and growth opportunities
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Product and Marketing
Bonus points
- Has driven product decisions (not just analysis) - Your work directly influenced roadmap or outcomes and not just dashboards.
- Depth of retention & activation thinking - Understand why users stick (cohorts, behaviors, early signals), not just metrics.
- Proactive insight generation (curiosity) - Find meaningful insights without being asked; behaves like an owner, not a responder.
