The Role
We are looking for a python engineer who is back end heavy to join our team. The work is extremely varied and because we are rapidly building the future of technology in our industry, you'll face a lot of complex problems head on. Some of the services you'll be working on is our video call bots, as well as services that support pooling data from a broad spectrum of third party services and making them available in our core application (eg updating resumes)
Who You Are (these are hard requirements)
- You've built production code for at least three years
- You've stuck around at your prior companies
- You've got experience in early stage businesses already
- Your former managers will gush when we take the reference (we do this at the back end of every process
- You are quality focussed, not shipping focus, and see your code as an extension of your own skills.
- You are already using agents for +75% of the actual code writing and have found yourself becoming more of an orchestrator than a code writer.
- You've graduated with computer science froma. top school (IIT, University of Sarajevo etc)
The type of environment you prefer
- You are autonomous and prefer fewer meetings.
- You don't enjoy working with junior engineers
- You want a remote environment.
Stack context: Our microservices stak is written in python, DBs are postgres and elasticsearch

Compensation
- Above-market base, structured to fit each loaction
- ~40% of company equity has been distributed to the team. This will likely be the largest equity cheque you receive outside of founding your own company
Location
We'll hire a superstar wherever they are, but prefer to add engineers in countries where we already have a presence: India · Bosnia · Ukraine · UK · Italy
