Job details:
We measure a brand's visibility inside AI answers. When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI Overviews "what's the best X," we tell brands whether they show up, how often they get cited, and how to improve it, all delivered through Slack, where marketing teams already work.
We're a small, fast-moving team building in a category that barely existed a year ago (GEO / AEO, generative engine optimisation). The product is live with real clients, we're heading into paid launch, and the surface area is growing faster than the team. That's where you come in.
The role in one line
You own the parts of the product that customers actually touch: onboarding, landing pages, the lifecycle/CLM engine, and pricing, and you ship them end to end.
This is a builder role, not a maintainer role. You'll take a rough idea ("suggest which Slack channels a new user should connect, and why") and turn it into a shipped, tested flow. You lean frontend and product, but you're comfortable wiring the backend logic and data that sits behind those flows.
What you'll own
Onboarding & the activation funnel
The single most important surface in the product. You own the flow a new user hits from landing page to signup to connected to activated, across all entry states (email-only, Slack-connected, fully-connected). Your job is to make it convert and make it feel effortless.
The CLM (customer lifecycle) engine
We nudge users at the right moments with the right message (email + Slack) based on where they are in their lifecycle and what their real data says (spend, ROAS, competitor moves, alerts). You'll own the lifecycle sequences, the message templates, the admin triggers, and the backend wiring that pulls the correct data into each message, through to launch and iteration.
Pricing & billing surface
The customer-facing pricing experience and the logic behind it, working alongside our backend lead on the Stripe/payments path. Getting this right is directly tied to revenue.
Landing pages & website
Fast iteration on landing pages and marketing site, building, fixing, and testing so acquisition never breaks.
What you'll work with
· Frontend / rapid product building (we build with Lovable + modern React-style frontend)
· API integrations: Slack, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and data providers (e.g. DataForSEO)
· LLM APIs (OpenAI / Gemini / Claude), parts of the product, like the onboarding flow, are powered by them
· Enough backend to wire logic and data: lifecycle triggers, pricing logic, data pipelines feeding the product
· Slack as a first-class product surface (a lot of the product lives inside Slack, not just a web app)
Who you are
· You've built and shipped customer-facing product features end to end, not just tickets, whole flows you owned from idea to live.
· You're frontend-strong but not frontend-only. You can follow the data back into the backend, wire an integration, and reason about how a system fires.
· You test your own work before calling it done. (Non-negotiable, you'll be shipping things that touch real customers and real money.)
· You document as you go, so the next person isn't reverse-engineering your head.
· You move fast without waiting to be told the next step, and you flag blockers early rather than going quiet.
· You care about how things feel for the user, not just whether they technically work.
Nice to have
· Experience with subscription/billing flows (Stripe)
· Familiarity with marketing/analytics data (GA4, Meta, Google Ads), you'll be building on top of it
· An eye for copy and brand tone (you'll touch onboarding and lifecycle messaging)
· Interest in AI / LLM products and the GEO/AEO space
How we work
Small team, high ownership, direct line to the founder. You'll ship weekly, join a short daily standup, and have real say in how the product's customer experience takes shape. If you want to be one cog in a big machine, this isn't it. If you want your fingerprints on the parts of the product every customer sees, it is.
