🚨 WE’RE HIRING | PD MERCHANT – PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT 🚨
Link Up Textiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced PD Merchant to join our Product Development / Merchandising team in Valasaravakkam, Chennai.
🔹 Experience: 2–3 years
🔹 Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000/month
Based on experience and interview performance
🔹 Employment Type: Full-Time
👤 Candidate Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel/Garment Technology, Fashion Design, Textile Technology or related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in garment merchandising/product development
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and product development
• Good understanding of fabrics, trims and accessories
• Ability to read and interpret tech packs, sketches and measurements
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel
• Ability to coordinate with buyers, sampling, pattern, CAD and production teams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
📌 Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate product development from buyer requirements to sample approval
• Manage sample development, revisions and buyer comments
• Coordinate with sampling, pattern, CAD and production teams
• Follow up on development timelines and submissions
• Coordinate fabric, trims and accessories for samples
• Maintain development trackers and documentation
• Ensure samples meet buyer requirements, quality standards and timelines
