Role Summary:
Drive end-to-end product development for B2B clients in natural diamond jewellery. Act as the bridge between client requirements, design team, CAD, and production to ensure timely delivery of market-right products at target cost and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client & Product Management
Understand B2B client briefs, forecasts, and seasonal plans for natural diamond jewelleryTranslate client requirements into clear tech packs and design briefs for the teamManage product lifecycle from concept to sampling to final approval
2. Design & CAD Coordination
Work closely with in-house team of designers and CAD artists to develop new collectionsReview designs, CADs, and 3D renders for design intent, wearability, and cost efficiencyEnsure adherence to diamond quality, metal weight, and manufacturing feasibility
3. Sampling & Development
Coordinate with production for timely development of samples as per client timelines Conduct sample reviews, QC checks, and costings with cross-functional teams
Maintain master data for all SKUs: specs, BOM, diamond specs, pricing, vendor details
4. Costing & NegotiationPrepare detailed cost sheets considering diamond sieve, gold, labor, and overheadsWork with sourcing/production to achieve target price without compromising quality
Support sales team during client negotiations with technical and cost inputs
5. Market & Trend Analysis
Track international trends in natural diamond jewellery, design, and retailBuild seasonal line plans and new concept decks for key B2B accountsAttend trade shows/exhibitions as needed for market intelligence
6. Team & Process
Lead and mentor team of designers and CAD executives on briefs and timelinesImplement PD calendar and ensure adherence to TNA for all accountsMaintain documentation, sample library, and design archivesKey
Skills & Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years in PD/Merchandising with natural diamond jewellery manufacturers
Technical: Strong knowledge of diamonds, local market trends, B2B Business.
