About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious Electronics Product Development Intern to join our product development team. The ideal candidate should enjoy building, testing, and improving electronic products. This role involves researching market requirements, analyzing technical challenges, developing prototypes, and creating DIY electronic kits and products based on project requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in electronics design and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze new electronic product ideas and market trends.
- Understand project requirements and convert them into practical electronic solutions.
- Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and prototypes.
- Build DIY electronic kits and educational electronics products.
- Analyze technical challenges and troubleshoot hardware issues during development.
- Select suitable electronic components considering performance, cost, and availability.
- Create schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Test prototypes and recommend design improvements.
- Assist in PCB design, soldering, and hardware assembly when required.
- Collaborate with the product, sourcing, and quality teams to bring products from concept to production.
- Ensure products meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
- Maintain proper documentation of development progress and test results.
Required Skill
- Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Understanding of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, ICs, sensors, and microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or similar development platforms.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and electronic schematics.
- Basic soldering and prototyping skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and experiment with new technologies.
Prefered Skills
- PCB design
- Knowledge of embedded systems and programming (C/C++ or Arduino IDE).
- Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.
- Experience in robotics, IoT, automation, or DIY electronics projects.
