EVtron Tech is a startup focused on designing, manufacturing, and deploying electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions for logistics fleets, factories, and commercial facilities.
Our mission is to accelerate India’s transition to sustainable mobility through reliable EV charging hardware, smart charging software, and turnkey deployment solutions.
We manufacture our own EV chargers and develop an in-house Charging Management System (CMS) that enables operators to monitor and manage charging infrastructure through web and mobile platforms.
Role Description
We are looking for a Product Development Engineer – EV Charging to join our growing team and support the development, validation, and execution of EV charging products.
This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong technical understanding of electronics or embedded systems along with good coordination and execution skills. You will work closely with firmware, hardware, PCB, vendors, testing labs, and founders to support end-to-end product development activities.
The role focuses on product coordination, testing, certifications, technical discussions, and execution ownership rather than pure research or deep hands-on coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end product development activities for EV charging systems.
- Work closely with firmware, hardware, PCB, and mechanical teams to track development progress and technical activities.
- Coordinate with vendors for components, samples, manufacturing, and technical follow-ups.
- Support product testing, validation, debugging, and issue tracking activities.
- Coordinate certification and lab testing activities for EV chargers and related products.
- Participate in technical discussions with internal teams, vendors, customers, and external partners when required.
- Maintain product development documentation, reports, technical records, and execution trackers.
- Support technical documentation activities related to product development, certifications, and patent filings when required.
- Support prototype development, field testing, and continuous product improvement activities.
- Track project timelines, pending tasks, risks, and execution milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Work closely with founders on new product initiatives, execution planning, and product coordination activities.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- 2–6 years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, EV, industrial automation, or related product development environments.
- Good understanding of electronics hardware, embedded systems, or EV charging systems.
- Strong coordination, ownership, and execution skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams and external vendors.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
It's a Plus If You Have
- Experience working with EV chargers, power electronics, or industrial electronic products.
- Exposure to product validation, testing, certifications, or compliance activities.
- Familiarity with embedded firmware development workflows or PCB development processes.
- Experience coordinating with certification agencies or testing laboratories.
- Startup experience or experience handling multiple responsibilities independently.
- Interest in sustainable mobility and EV infrastructure.
