Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a New Product Designer specializing in medical disposable devices, such as insulin pens, based in Mumbai. The Product Designer will be responsible for designing user-centered products, conducting user research, applying design thinking principles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. They will focus on visual and functional aspects of medical devices, ensuring that the designs meet regulatory standards and user needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Visual Design, with a strong understanding of aesthetics and the ability to create appealing product designs
• Experience with Design Thinking methodologies and using user-centered approaches in problem-solving
• Expertise in User Research and to understand user behavior, preferences, and needs
• Strong skills in Product Design, particularly within the medical device space, with attention to detail and compliance
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design solutions with engineering, regulatory, and business objectives
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
• Knowledge of medical device industry standards and regulations is an advantage
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
