About Us
Little Minds at Work is on a mission to build thoughtful, engaging, and impactful products for young learners. We believe design isn’t just how things look—it’s how they work, feel, and scale in the real world. We’re looking for a Product Designer who can take ideas from zero to one—and all the way to production.
Role Overview
This is not a “make it pretty” role. We’re looking for someone who can think in systems, shape product experiences from scratch, and collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life. You’ll be involved in everything—from early concept exploration to final production-ready designs.
What You’ll Do
- Translate rough ideas and product goals into clear concepts, flows, and experiences
- Design end-to-end user journeys (not just screens)
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI with strong UX thinking
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are practical, scalable, and production-ready
- Build and maintain design systems and reusable components
- Iterate based on feedback, testing, and real-world constraints
- Balance creativity with usability, feasibility, and business goals
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5+ years of experience in product design (not just graphic/visual design)
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product work (concept → execution → shipped)
- Ability to think structurally: flows, systems, edge cases—not just screens
- Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping direction, not just following briefs
- Experience collaborating with developers and understanding technical constraints
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma (or similar)
- Bonus: Experience designing for children, education, or behavior-driven products
How You Work
- You ask “why” before jumping to “how”
- You care about details, but don’t lose sight of the bigger picture
- You’re comfortable owning outcomes, not just outputs
- You can move fast without breaking things that matter
What You’ll Get
- High ownership and autonomy
- Opportunity to shape products from the ground up
- A collaborative, low-ego team environment
- The chance to build something meaningful for young learners
How to Apply
Send us your portfolio along with a brief note on a product you’ve designed end-to-end—what problem it solved, how you approached it, and what you learned.
