Namma Yatri is a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform built to empower drivers and provide seamless, frictionless ride experiences for users. We’re not just another ride-hailing app — we’re reimagining urban mobility from the ground up, with drivers at the center and intuitive design as our backbone.
We’re crafting thoughtful, scalable, and elegant design solutions that drive real-world impact in ride-hailing, multimodal transportation and public utilities. We are currently seeking a Product Designer with 1-3 years of product design experience to join our team. You will work closely with other designers, developers, business leads, city operations managers and product managers to build great interfaces. We embrace big-picture thinkers who also enjoy the finer details of day-to-day activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
● Understand user problems, business goals, and operational challenges to design meaningful product experiences.
● Craft intuitive, user-centered designs that deliver seamless and thoughtful experiences, while continuously refining them based on user insights and feedback.
● Create and hand off production-ready animations and micro-interactions (e.g. Lottie assets) to support high-quality product implementation.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, data, and operations to craft delightful experiences that deliver real value to users.
● Design intuitive and scalable experiences for both consumer-facing products and internal tools/platforms.
● Prototype ideas rapidly using modern AI-assisted workflows, no-code tools, and interaction design tools when needed.
● Work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation and smooth product delivery.
● Translate user research, analytics, and feedback into actionable design improvements.
YOUR EXPERIENCE SHOULD SHOWCASE
● 1–3 years of hands-on experience in product design at a digital product company or agency.
● Ability to translate complex problems into intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
● Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product thinking, UX problem solving, and visual design craft.
● Experience designing for mobile applications (Android/iOS) and responsive web platforms.
● Ability to clearly communicate design rationale, decisions, and tradeoffs to cross-functional teams.
● Comfort working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
● A user-first mindset with a strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
● Empathy and strong collaboration skills—you’re open to feedback and also a constructive critic.
TOOLS EXPERTISE
● Strong proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows.
● Familiarity with interaction and prototyping tools such as LottieFiles, Jitter, Rive, or similar platforms.
● Familiarity with AI-assisted design and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms.
BONUS POINTS IF:
● You enjoy bringing ideas to life through motion, micro-interactions, illustrations, or visual storytelling.
● You like prototyping and building interactive experiences using code, AI-assisted workflows, or modern vibe coding tools.
● You’ve contributed to design communities through talks, writing, workshops, or open source/design initiatives.
● You’ve worked on data-rich interfaces, operational dashboards, or products designed for non tech-savvy users.
● You actively experiment with emerging AI workflows and explore how AI can enhance product experiences.
