Type: Full-Time - On-Site, On-Floor, In-Office (Subject to project or work allocation)
Location: Zak GIDC, Vahelal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Salary Range: 2,50,000 INR – 4,50,000 INR per annum (subject to experience and performance)
Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Work Schedule: 6 working days per week
Responsibilities
- Design sustainable infrastructure and utility products using design and CAD tools.
- Collaborate with the business teams to develop products as per the market needs and requirements.
- Develop concept sketches, product form iterations incorporating material behavior into design decisions.
- Create 3D models and basic assemblies using tools such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar.
- Prepare design presentations, renders, and visualizations for internal reviews and client communication.
- Conduct prototype development using 3D printing, CNC, or trial molds.
- Work on material exploration and surface/texture studies using waste materials.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align design intent with the company’s production process.
- Modify designs based on lab and field test feedback.
- Maintain design records for audit, certification, and IP filing if needed.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or completing B.Des / M.Des in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design or related field.
- Strong interest in sustainable materials and circular product design.
- Proficiency in at least one 3D modeling tool (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks / Rhino / Blender or similar).
- Skills in sketching, form development, and visual storytelling.
- Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of DFM, tolerancing, and mold/tooling fundamentals.
- Creative thinking with attention to detail and usability.
- Portfolio showcasing product / industrial design projects is required.

Selection Process
The selection process will comprise three stages:
- HR Round
- Practical/Technical Assessment (Shop-floor Evaluation)
- Final Managerial Round
