Make your impact

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all sold products are translated into accurate, compliant, and production‑ready orders. You will be responsible for configuring product structures and production orders within SAP to enable efficient manufacturing and assembly, optimise resource utilisation, and minimise rework, errors, and non‑conformances. Through close collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, master data, and supply chain teams, this role supports safe, repeatable, and high‑quality production outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Work Order Execution: Deliver accurate, complete Work Orders within a 3‑day turnaround, managing amendments within 2 days.
• Product Configuration: Configure BOMs using SAP Variant Configurator and manual methods to prevent errors and non‑compliance.
• Quality & Compliance: Validate all Work Order requirements against processing checklists to enable smooth manufacturing and assembly.
• Cross‑Functional Support: Partner with Master Data to define SAP Material Master requirements for special or certified parts.
• Production Enablement: Raise purchase requisitions and configure routings to keep production flowing with minimal disruption.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

Must-haves:

• Associate degree or equivalent technical qualification; Engineering degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar product configuration or production support role.
• Proficiency with SAP modules including Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Variant Configuration (VC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  
  

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience configuring Bill of Materials and reviewing Work Order deliverables.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite skills.
• Knowledge of configuration management, engineering processes, inventory management, and production planning.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and apply problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
