Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Associate — Product Certification & Compliance with experience in certification or compliance for electronic products. You will play an active role in obtaining and maintaining certifications for our Gas & Fire Detection Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems.
Key Responsibilities
→ Support and execute end-to-end certification for electronic safety products under EN, UL, IEC, ISO, BIS, and PESO standards
→ Prepare technical documentation, BoM references, test reports, and compliance declarations for certification submissions
→ Co-ordinate with third-party test labs (NABL / international) and certification bodies (BIS, PESO, UL, TÜV, etc.)
→ Liaise with R&D and hardware engineering teams to embed compliance into electronic product design
→ Maintain the certification register — tracking expiry dates, renewals, and submission status
→ Monitor changes in applicable standards and assess impact on products
→ Assist in pre-compliance testing co-ordination and manage sample submissions to test labs
→ Support audit preparation, regulatory queries, and post-market surveillance documentation
Requirements
✔ B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field
✔ 1–3 years of experience in product certification, regulatory compliance, or QA for electronic products
✔ Working knowledge of EN 54, EN 50131, IEC 60079, IS standards, BIS certification, or PESO approvals
✔ Experience preparing technical files, test reports, or compliance documentation for certification bodies
✔ Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit schematics, technical standards, and engineering drawings
✔ Good written and verbal communication skills in English
✔ Proficiency in MS Office; compliance/quality management tools experience is a plus
⭐ Desirable (preferred but not mandatory)
★ Prior experience at a NABL-accredited or international Test Laboratory for electronic product testing & certification
★ Experience in an electronic product manufacturing company with in-house certification or compliance function
★ Exposure to EMC / EMI testing, electrical safety testing, or environmental testing (IP rating, temperature cycling)
★ Familiarity with CE Marking, ATEX / IECEx, or Hazardous Area certification for electronic equipment
★ Knowledge of RoHS, REACH, or product environmental compliance
