- Manage end-to-end product certification processes through China-based OEM suppliers.
- Define and execute region-specific certification strategies for Europe, the UK, LATAM, Asia, and Africa.
- Coordinate with international testing laboratories and certification bodies.
- Review and validate certification documents such as test reports, Declarations of Conformity, and technical files.
- Ensure compliance with global safety standards including CE, UKCA, REACH, RoHS, and country-specific regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to fake, outdated, or non-compliant certifications.
- Maintain accurate certification records and ensure only compliant products are approved for export.
A successful Certification & Compliance Specialist (Global Products) should have:
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in product certification, regulatory compliance, or conformity assessment.
- Certifications & Standards: Strong hands-on experience with CE Marking, UKCA, Euro-5, and global certifications such as BIS, INMETRO, NOM, and SASO.
- Supplier Exposure: Proven experience working with China-based OEMs or international suppliers.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of mechanical or electro-mechanical products.
- Industry Background (Preferred): Agro equipment, gardening tools, forestry equipment, generators, power tools, or small engines.
- Education: Engineering or technical qualification preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines).
