Key Accountabilities
- Gather and translate business requirements for Digital Marketing platforms covering campaign management, audience targeting, personalization, content workflows, and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Own solutioning for asset lifecycle management including asset creation, tagging, metadata, taxonomy, versioning, approvals, publishing, distribution, and governance across digital channels.
- Lead discovery and solutioning workshops with product managers, marketing stakeholders, architecture, engineering, UX, QA, and partner teams to define outcomes, scope, constraints, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Convert high-level requirements into delivery-ready epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, business rules, validations, edge cases, and measurable outcomes.
- Create and own High-Level Design / solution design documents that engineering teams can implement with confidence, covering functional workflows, module impacts, integration touchpoints, logical data entities, configuration approach, and non-functional expectations.
- Define service boundaries and integration approach for DAM and marketing capabilities, ensuring clean interfaces, versioning/backward compatibility, and controlled dependencies across modules.
- Review and design APIs involved in the solution including campaign services, asset repositories, content delivery, authentication/authorization, and third-party marketing integrations; document payloads, validations, error handling, retries, reconciliation, and traceability.
- Ensure alignment between marketing workflows and technical feasibility by partnering closely with architecture and engineering teams on trade-offs, sequencing, and implementation direction.
- Support sprint planning and backlog grooming by explaining stories, clarifying scope, and addressing functional questions during development; proactively remove ambiguity.
- Act as a bridge between marketing stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure alignment on features, timelines, and expected outcomes.
- Drive quality of documentation and story readiness by continuously refining templates, improving clarity, and strengthening solutioning standards.
- Stay updated on Digital Marketing and DAM trends including omnichannel journeys, content personalization, marketing automation, and modern content supply chain practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in a techno-functional role in product-based or enterprise software environments, with ownership across requirements, solutioning, and delivery support.
- Strong experience working on Digital Marketing platforms and/or Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Hands-on understanding of campaign workflows, audience segmentation, personalization, content lifecycle, and DAM processes including metadata, taxonomy, approvals, publishing, and distribution.
- Proven experience writing epics/user stories and acceptance criteria, and supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams through execution.
- Experience creating High-Level Design / solution design documents including functional flows, integrations, logical data models, and non-functional expectations.
- Working understanding of MERN-based applications including React UI workflows, Node.js/Express REST APIs, and MongoDB logical data concepts.
- Experience reviewing APIs and documenting functional expectations such as payload fields, validations, error scenarios, and integration behaviors.
- Exposure to Martech ecosystems including CMS, DAM, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and third-party integrations.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and diagramming tools (UML/BPMN).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with marketing teams, product teams, architects, and engineering teams.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with enterprise-grade Digital Marketing platforms or DAM products in large-scale deployments.
- Knowledge of content delivery concepts including CDN integration, media optimization, renditions/transcoding, and multi-channel publishing.
- Exposure to marketing KPIs such as campaign conversion, engagement rates, asset utilization, content performance, and operational SLAs.
- Basic understanding of non-functional areas like performance, scalability, security, and role-based access control, especially for asset repositories and content delivery.
- Prior experience working closely with architects on solution design, platform modernization, and cross-system dependencies.
- Good to have: familiarity with AI-enabled marketing or content capabilities such as auto-tagging, content recommendations, personalization optimization, and automated insights.
