Role Title: Product Analyst

Role Overview:
The Product Analyst partners closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams to translate product strategy and functional requirements into clear, actionable user stories that drive delivery. This role is embedded with delivery teams, works hands on with engineers, and plays a critical role in sprint execution, backlog health, and day to day product progress. The Product Analyst is not a reporting or governance role—it is a delivery-oriented role focused on clarity, execution, and strong collaboration with engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation that align with defined product outcomes and technical requirements.
- Maintain and refine the team backlog to ensure stories are ready for development (well groomed, scoped, and dependency aware).
- Partner with engineers to clarify requirements, answer questions quickly, and ensure shared understanding throughout the sprint.
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience working on agile delivery teams (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria for technical product teams.
- Comfortable working directly with engineers on a daily basis.
- Expertise with Jira.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple work items in active sprints while maintaining backlog readiness.
Education and Certifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.
