Job Summary:
The Product Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting product development by gathering requirements, researching market trends, and analyzing data to inform product strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in working closely with cross-functional teams, conducting in-depth research, and providing insights that drive product innovation and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and document product requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities.
- Analyze user feedback, sales data, and product performance metrics to provide actionable insights for product improvements.
- Assist in creating detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories to guide development teams and maintain clear communication across teams to ensure alignment on product development initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to ensure product requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
- Track and report on key product performance indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations for optimization.
- Participate in product development meetings and contribute to strategic product decisions.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve product functionality and user experience.
- Create and maintain product performance dashboards, tracking key metrics and providing insights to inform decision-making.
- Support go-to-market strategies by providing data-driven insights into customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- 1-4 years of experience as a product analyst, data analyst, or similar role in the SaaS industry.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to gather insights from various data sources.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Whimsical) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment and contribute to the overall product strategy.
- Basic understanding of data analytics or BI tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
