Role Description The Product Air Worthiness Certification role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The individual in this role will coordinate and manage airworthiness certification activities for relevant products, ensuring compliance with applicable aviation, defense, and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include reviewing technical documentation, validating product specifications against certification standards, preparing and maintaining compliance reports, and supporting test and evaluation procedures. The role involves collaborating with engineering, quality assurance, and sales teams, liaising with regulatory and certification bodies, and providing technical support to customers and internal stakeholders on airworthiness requirements and product performance.
Qualifications
- Product specialization skills: Ability to understand complex technical products, act as a product specialist, and interpret engineering and safety documentation.
- Analytical capabilities: Strong analytical skills for evaluating compliance data, test results, and certification criteria, with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Communication and customer interaction: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and provide customer service related to product certification and performance.
- Sales and stakeholder support: Experience supporting sales activities with technical input, including explaining certification status and product capabilities to clients and partners.
- Relevant education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical, or a related technical field; an advanced degree or certification in aviation safety or airworthiness is an advantage.
- Regulatory and standards knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace or defense standards, quality management systems, and safety regulations applicable to airworthy products.
- Technical documentation proficiency: Ability to create, review, and maintain technical reports, compliance matrices, and certification files.
- Professional attributes: Capacity to work on-site in Dehradun, strong organizational skills, integrity in handling safety-critical information, and commitment to non-discriminatory, team-focused collaboration.
