Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role for a Procurement Operations Specialist, located in Udaipur. The role includes managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring vendor compliance, and handling contract negotiations. The candidate will also analyze market trends, support cost optimization, and facilitate efficient procurement processes to meet organizational goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. KeyAccountManagement: Handling key accounts from the initial RFQ stage through to the closure of purchase orders (PO).
2. P&LManagement:Takingownership of the entire Profit and Loss (P&L) of the key accounts under your purview.
3. Client Service Excellence: Ensuring end-to-end client satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, urgencies, and maintaining service levels and turnaround times (TAT).
4. Procurement andSales Cycle: Managing the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Sales-to-Order cycle efficiently.
5. VendorDevelopment: Identifying and developing new or alternate vendors for key products and services to enhance client serviceability.
6. ERPProficiency: Demonstrating proficiency in using ERP systems for sales order and POcreation.
7. MISReporting: Preparing daily and weekly MIS reports to track and analyze performance.
8. TATAdherence: Taking ownership of ensuring that materials reach customers within agreed-upon TAT.
9. Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging in effective and consistent interaction and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Supplier Coordination: Coordinating with a large number of suppliers on a daily basis to fulfill orders. 11. Dispatch Team Collaboration: Collaborating with the Dispatch team to optimize serviceability.
12. Product Knowledge: Possessing a basic understanding of products in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), Chemicals, and Packaging categories.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Purchase Orders, Procurement, and managing procurement lifecycles
- Strong experience in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess procurement performance and achieve cost optimization
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience in MRO and supply chain management is a plus
- Btech / MBA-Supplychain management/Operation or a related field
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools
