Role Description
Position: Procurement Executive
Department: Purchase / Procurement
Location: Based on Site / Office
Experience: 1–3 Years Preferred
We are looking for a Procurement Executive to handle purchasing activities, vendor coordination, material tracking, and site procurement support. The candidate should have good negotiation skills and basic knowledge of construction or civil materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices with vendors.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and documentation.
- Track inventory and avoid material shortages.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding pending deliveries.
- Ensure quality and quantity of purchased materials.
- Prepare procurement reports and cost comparisons.
Required Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and purchase activities.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of construction/civil materials is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Any Degree / Diploma
- Experience in Procurement or Purchase Department preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Experience in construction, civil, or field-related procurement will be an advantage.
