Role Description The Procurement Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting and optimizing procurement and supply chain activities for NPOWA SOLUTIONS’ clients. In this position, the specialist will manage purchase orders, process invoices, and coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to secure favorable terms, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain accurate documentation. Daily tasks include monitoring order status, handling proof of delivery notifications, maintaining data in internal systems, and supporting risk management and continuity planning related to procurement and logistics. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders to streamline processes, adhere to international trade compliance requirements, and identify cost-saving opportunities across global supply chains. The Procurement Specialist is expected to work within defined SLAs and KPIs, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and supply chain skills, including purchase order processing, supplier relationship management, and negotiation with freight forwarders.
- Experience with logistics and operations tasks such as shipment instruction preparation, track and trace activities, and post-calculation of transports and trips.
- Competence in documentation and compliance, including invoice checking, international trade compliance, and accurate status updates in systems.
- Ability to support risk management and continuity planning, ensuring stable operations and minimal disruption in global supply chains.
- Proficiency with digital tools and ERP or supply chain management systems, and strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to meeting SLAs and KPIs.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, multicultural environment.
- Relevant education in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or logistics are an advantage.
- Prior experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or procurement roles within a global environment is highly beneficial.
