Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts. The role will involve analyzing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, ensuring materials and products meet quality requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill procurement needs efficiently. The specialist will play a key role in aligning procurement strategies with operational goals and supporting successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including expertise in Purchase Orders and Supplier Evaluation.
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to manage cost analysis, budgeting, and optimization strategies.
- Prior experience or knowledge in Procurement, with the ability to align sourcing strategies with company objectives.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management in the interior design or construction industry is an advantage.
