Zydus Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist / Buyer with strong hands-on expertise in Corporate Event Planning and Travel Management. This role will have end-to-end ownership of corporate events, including group travel bookings, itinerary planning, hotel procurement, vendor coordination, negotiation, and on-ground logistics, while ensuring cost optimization, compliance, and vendor governance.
This position offers significant exposure to cross‑functional stakeholders, senior leadership, and strategic procurement initiatives across corporate services, marketing, branding, and events.

Qualification: B.E. + MBA or Any Graduate with relevant procurement experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Corporate Event Planning & Management (End-to-End Ownership)
- Act as the single point of responsibility for planning and executing corporate events, conferences, offsites, and employee engagement programs.
- Plan and manage end-to-end event logistics, including:
- Group travel bookings (air, rail, road)
- Detailed event and travel itinerary planning for employees and stakeholders
- Hotel sourcing, negotiations, bookings, and contract finalization
- Local transportation, venue coordination, audio-visual setup, catering, and ancillary services.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives, budgets, timelines, and service expectations.
- Ensure seamless execution through vendor coordination, on-ground supervision, and issue resolution.
2 Travel & Hospitality Procurement
- Manage procurement for corporate travel and stay, including:
- Airlines, hotels, travel agencies, transport vendors
- Rate negotiations, SLAs, and cost benchmark.
- Optimize travel and accommodation costs while ensuring employee comfort and compliance.
- Maintain approved vendor panels for travel and hospitality services.
3 Vendor Management & Negotiation
- Source, evaluate, onboard, and govern vendors for events, travel, hotels, and corporate services.
- Lead commercial negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure favorable pricing and service levels.
- Monitor vendor performance, resolve escalations, and drive continuous improvement.
4 Procurement & Governance
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement for:
- Marketing campaigns, branding, advertising, and promotional materials
- Corporate services (telecom, manpower, facility management).
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
- Drive cost optimization, savings initiatives, and transparent procurement practices.
5 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, HR, Admin, Finance, and Business Teams to meet service, quality, and cost objectives.
- Provide clear communication, timelines, and execution plans to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Profile:
- Owns end‑to‑end corporate event planning and procurement, including travel, hotels, and logistics.
- Strong blend of procurement rigor and event execution expertise.
- Experienced in vendor sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and cost optimization.
- Proven ability to manage large group travel and complex event logistics independently.
- Effective stakeholder manager across business, vendors, and leadership.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi-stakeholder corporate environment.
