Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in Chennai, is for a Procurement Officer. As a Procurement Officer, you will manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts. You will ensure that quality materials and services are sourced efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with budgetary requirements. Collaboration with design and operational teams will be an essential aspect of your role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Procurement and Purchasing processes
- Experience in preparing and managing Purchase Orders
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Excellent Analytical Skills to assess suppliers and analyze cost efficiency
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with organizational policies
- Proficiency in relevant software and ERP systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
