Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities for EPC projects. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, contract management, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end procurement for EPC, construction, and transmission projects.
· Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier network.
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
· Float RFQs, evaluate bids, and release Purchase Orders.
· Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Stores, and Finance teams.
· Ensure timely delivery of project materials.
· Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Maintain procurement records and ensure policy compliance.
· Lead and mentor the procurement team.
Preferred Experience
• 8–15 years of procurement experience in EPC, Power Transmission, Substations, Infrastructure, Construction, or Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of vendor development, contract management, sourcing, and procurement planning.
• Experience with ERP/SAP and advanced MS Excel is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) or a related discipline.
MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is an added advantage.
