Job Description – Procurement Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities for infrastructure and construction projects at VV Infratech. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for competitive pricing and quality assurance.
- Prepare purchase orders, comparative statements, and procurement reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project and store teams to avoid shortages or delays.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites.
- Maintain vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research to track pricing trends and new suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Handle rate contracts, AMC agreements, and procurement documentation.
- Optimize procurement costs without compromising quality and project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement or purchase management in construction/infrastructure industry.
