We are seeking an experienced Manager – Procurement to lead end-to-end procurement activities, support global stakeholders, optimize supplier relationships, and contribute to the successful implementation of enterprise procurement solutions.
Role Overview
The Manager – Procurement is responsible for managing procurement operations across multiple international entities, ensuring efficient procure-to-pay processes, strong supplier management, robust controls, and cost optimization initiatives. This role works closely with global business teams, finance, internal audit, and suppliers to drive procurement excellence, process improvements, and business value.
This position also plays a key role in supporting ERP transformation initiatives, enhancing procurement visibility, and establishing scalable procurement practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Global Procurement Operations
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, supplier coordination, and payment workflows.
- Ensure procurement activities are executed efficiently and consistently across multiple geographic locations.
- Serve as a key procurement point of contact for internal stakeholders.
- Promote procurement best practices and policy compliance across the organization.
- Support centralized procurement and shared services initiatives.
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Management
- Oversee and optimize Procure-to-Pay processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure timely processing of procurement transactions and approvals.
- Monitor procurement workflows and address process bottlenecks.
- Drive improvements in purchasing controls and operational effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
ERP Implementation & Transformation
- Support the rollout and adoption of enterprise procurement and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams during system implementation activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement workflows through automation and system enhancements.
- Enhance reporting, analytics, and procurement data visibility.
- Contribute to change management and user adoption initiatives.
Contract Management & Strategic Sourcing
- Review, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts and commercial agreements.
- Support sourcing activities and supplier selection processes.
- Consolidate supplier agreements to maximize commercial value.
- Ensure contractual compliance and effective contract lifecycle management.
- Manage procurement activities across categories, including technology, software, hardware, and business services.
Cost Optimization & Value Creation
- Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities across procurement categories.
- Drive supplier performance improvements and value-generation initiatives.
- Analyze spending patterns and recommend sourcing strategies.
- Support negotiations that improve commercial terms and service levels.
- Deliver measurable savings and process efficiencies.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Evaluate existing procurement processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement practical solutions to streamline operations and reduce cycle times.
- Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve procurement governance, visibility, and operational controls.
- Foster a culture of efficiency and accountability.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Partner with Finance, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to strengthen procurement controls.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support initiatives to minimize operational, financial, and supplier-related risks.
- Enhance approval workflows and procurement governance structures.
- Help prevent fraud, errors, and non-compliant purchasing activities.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on procurement-related matters.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Support supplier negotiations, reviews, and ongoing relationship management.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Analyze procurement data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Track key procurement KPIs, savings initiatives, and service-level performance.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support data-driven procurement transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 7–10+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience.
- Experience managing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience with contract management and supplier negotiations.
- Experience working within shared services or multinational environments.
- Exposure to ERP systems and procurement technology platforms.
- Experience supporting procurement transformation or process improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP implementation projects.
- Experience working within global procurement organizations.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and category management.
- Experience supporting indirect procurement categories such as IT, software, professional services, and corporate services.
- Exposure to shared service center operations and global procurement governance.
