Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in the interior design and fit-out industry to manage the procurement of materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and quality in alignment with project requirements and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to project timelines and budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for materials and services (e.g., furniture, lighting, joinery, flooring, etc.).
- Ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality or timelines.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders; analyze bids and finalize suppliers.
- Build and maintain a robust vendor database, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
- Coordinate closely with design, project management, and site teams to align procurement with design intent and site requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, material tracking, and ensure logistics are in place for timely site delivery.
- Ensure adherence to contract terms, payment schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Minimum 4+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the interior fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of material specifications, especially for high-end interiors and commercial fit-outs.
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
