Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for the position of Procurement Manager, based in Pune. The Procurement Manager will handle day-to-day procurement processes, evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement data. The individual will ensure optimal cost-efficiency and quality in procurement operations while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Supplier Evaluation and Procurement processes
- Proven skills in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management
- Strong Analytical Skills to manage data and drive cost-effective decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain vendor relationships
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach towards supply chain optimization
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus
- Relevant academic background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in the safety, rescue, or defense equipment industry is advantageous
