Role Description
We are seeking a Procurement Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Navi Mumbai. The Procurement Manager will oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-efficiency while maintaining quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, evaluating supplier performance, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational requirements. The role also involves overseeing compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in procurement practices, negotiation, and vendor management
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and managing cost-efficiencies
- Experience in inventory management and procurement strategy development
- Understanding of compliance, contract management, and industry regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in procurement or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a relevant certification such as CPSM or CIPS is a plus
- Prior experience in healthcare procurement or a related industry is advantageous
