Role Description
The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process to ensure efficient sourcing and supplier relationships. Responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, overseeing procurement activities, managing vendor agreements, and analyzing purchase data for cost optimization. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Noida, where collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure resource availability and adherence to budgetary goals will be a key focus.
Key Responsibility: -
- Lead end-to-end procurement strategy for used oil, SKO, LDO, MHO, furnace oil, industrial fuels, lubricants, additives, and general purchases
- Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies for used oil collection, bulk fuels, and critical consumables
- Build, manage, and scale a pan-India vendor ecosystem including collectors, aggregators, transporters, traders, and manufacturers
- Negotiate commercially complex contracts covering pricing, volumes, credit terms, logistics, and risk mitigation
- Drive cost leadership and margin improvement through strategic sourcing, alternate suppliers, and market intelligence
- Oversee used oil procurement compliance, traceability, documentation, and alignment with regulatory norms
- Govern general purchase for plant operations, spares, chemicals, packaging materials, services, and CAPEX support
- Ensure supply continuity aligned with production plans, refinery throughput, and logistics capacity
- Monitor market trends, price volatility, and regulatory developments impacting fuels and used oil
- Establish procurement policies, SOPs, approval matrices, and internal controls
- Lead vendor performance reviews, audits, and corrective action plans
- Partner with operations, logistics, finance, and compliance teams as a strategic business enabler
- Oversee inventory optimization, working capital control, and risk management
- Review and approve high-value POs, contracts, and deviations
- Drive ERP-led procurement governance, MIS, dashboards, and reporting
- Support new plant setups, collection center development, and expansion initiatives
