Role Description The Procurement Manager role at Blueladder Enterprises is a full-time, hybrid position based in Visakhapatnam, with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Procurement Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing materials, identifying and evaluating suppliers, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing purchase requirements, requesting and analyzing quotations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods and services. The role will also involve managing procurement documentation, coordinating with project and finance teams, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing costs without compromising quality. The Procurement Manager will contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and support compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of materials for Retail & Commercial Interior Projects
- Strong knowledge of PAN India material pricing and supplier network
- Conduct rate analysis and cost benchmarking for project materials
- Prepare accurate and competitive project quotations based on BOQs
- Vendor sourcing, negotiations, and purchase order management
- Coordinate with Estimation, Project Execution, and Accounts teams
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and project budgets
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Procurement and Supplier Evaluation, with the ability to identify reliable vendors and manage supplier performance.
- Strong Contract Negotiation and Contract Management skills to secure favorable terms and maintain compliant, up-to-date agreements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to assess pricing, quality, lead times, and risks, and to support data-driven procurement decisions.
- Knowledge of interior, construction, or related industries, including common materials, finishes, and vendor ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in Retail & Commercial Interior Procurement
- Excellent knowledge of Civil, Interior, Electrical, HVAC & Plumbing materials
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and rate analysis
