We are looking for a highly networked, detail-oriented, and results-driven Procurement Manager who can drive strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and timely material availability for residential and commercial interior projects.
This role is critical to ensuring smooth project execution through strong supplier partnerships, commercial negotiation, and proactive procurement planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement for interior design and fit-out projects
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, and contracts
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across Chennai and South India
- Ensure timely sourcing of materials to meet project timelines
- Coordinate with design, production, project, and site teams for BOQ-based procurement
- Compare quotations and conduct cost-benefit analysis
- Track price fluctuations in raw materials and recommend sourcing strategies
- Maintain vendor performance scorecards on quality, lead time, and service
- Ensure procurement compliance with company standards and project budgets
- Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, GRN coordination, and invoice reconciliation
- Build alternate supplier networks to reduce project risk and delays

Candidates with existing working relationships or sourcing experience in the below categories is must:
- Quartz / granite / countertop vendors
- Glass / mirror / fluted glass suppliers
- Electrical and lighting vendors
- False ceiling / gypsum vendors
- Paint / polish / PU / duco vendors
- Soft furnishing vendors
- Site execution subcontractors
- Carpenters / modular installers
- Civil / plumbing / electrical fit-out contractors
- Transport and logistics vendors
- Stainless steel / aluminium fabrication vendors
Existing vendor contacts in Chennai market is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement within interior design / fit-out / construction
- Strong supplier evaluation and contract negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and commercial decision-making ability
- Strong local market knowledge in Chennai
- Vendor relationship and escalation management experience
- Ability to work under strict project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
