Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Manager – CAPEX, Machinery & Heavy Equipment. The position is based in New Delhi. The Procurement Manager will oversee the procurement of capital equipment, machinery, and heavy equipment. Day-to-day tasks will include supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, managing contracts, and conducting market analysis. The role requires strategic planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost efficiencies.
We are looking for a high-ownership procurement professional with strong experience in CAPEX procurement, machinery, and heavy equipment sourcing.
Experience: 5+ years Qualification: B.Tech (Must)
Reporting to: Chief Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities
· Lead CAPEX procurement including machinery and heavy equipment
· End-to-end strategic sourcing and vendor development
· Strong understanding of Open Book Costing and cost structure analysis
· Drive cost optimisation, value engineering, and margin improvement
· Manage RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and contract closures
· Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams
· Ability to understand and impact P&L through procurement decisions
